I have to be honest, I am thrilled that wide leg pants are making a note-worthy appearance from fashion houses. They never went “out” for me, in fact this pair was purchased to wear at the rehearsal dinner for my wedding (oddly enough, I also wore them to my brothers rehearsal dinner, paired with a navy crop top sweater and a brown leather sandal).

To me, they are a timeless piece. Here, I’ve embraced the front tuck. I love it for a t-shirt, but lately the transitional weather has me giving a little tuck to my sweaters! Why not? In this outfit, it gave what would have essentially been a shapeless line, some waist.

I’m not one to encourage buying for the sake of buying, but this sweater is on sale at Banana Republic for UNDER $30. If it’s something you anticipate needing, that’s quite a deal! (Also noteworthy, I purchased this two sizes up from what I normally would as I do my t-shirts)

Happy Thursday to you! One more day and then relaxation (hopefully) begins.

Sweater (Banana Republic), Pants originally purchased at Ann Taylor (Similar also Ann Taylor) Boots (Ralph Lauren)
